HoHa 5 mile race

Last night I had a business dinner in Hoboken with guy who used to live in town before h moved out to the 'burbs. We ate at a well known place in town called Leo's Grandevous. Leo's has been around for a long time and is a shrine to Old Blue Eyes. the last time I was there for a meal was about sixteen years ago. The place has not changed other than a fresh coat of paint. I couldn't believe that the menus still had the same prices as 1994. Then we went to an old hang out of mine. The owner was there and he had not changed. Actually he had; the helmet is still hot but the jersey is shot. He actually had been a minor soap opera star. Now he is just like any other Hoboken bar owner. The song Glory Days came to mind for some strange reason.

We don't have the boys this weekend so we are going to consolidate our storage spaces and move a bunch of stuff out to the in-laws basement. I will be driving the U-Haul truck tomorrow out to Sayville. Then we will be having dinner with the in-laws for Mothers Day.

Sunday we are doing a warm up for the triathlon. We and JP signed up for the race. JP is worried won't do well but I told him the point is to finish the race not win it. He picked up our packets for us today. We were going to go out tonight but is has been a long week so instead we'll just sit in and watch BSG. Ragnar asked us to join him and his boyfriend at The Night of 1,000 Stevies but we passed.

There is a cute guy in the office. He works in the HR department I think and has something to do with compensation. I noticed for the first time he has serious junk in the trunk.
